Having Fun!

The last couple weekends have been fun, last week we went on a cruise with our local club. I learned that the Mustang needs an Overdrive transmission, so next week I'm installing one. This weekend I made a console for it, it makes the interior look complete...

Getting the Bugs Worked Out..

This is the part of the project that can you have to be patient with, finding those little quirks, noises and making adjustments that are needed.. Also getting those finishing touches done..

First Ride was a Success!

Took the car out for the first time today. It was first time the car moved under it's own power in almost 20 years! Everything worked as it should, I was very happy about that.. Here are a couple pics outside.

It's Alive!

It's been a couple weeks since my last update..
The engine fired right up and broke it in for 25 minutes (sounds great!)
There were a couple of draw backs, the torque converter needed rebuilt and the drive shaft had to be lengthened. Now it's all back together and got the new wheels and tires on, I also custom made the grill.
Just have to put the stripes on (Hopefully this weekend)..

Ready To Start!

It's been a few weeks since my last update, Holidays are behind us and work continues...
The Mustang is Ready to start!
I'm waiting for a nice day to get the car outside and let it run during break in..
Only thing left on the car is buffing, stripes and wheels & tires.. 6 months of hard work will be worth it if she starts.. Fingers are crossed...

The engine and transmission are back in the mustang where they belong. There is finally light at the end of the tunnel, 5 months goes by fast..
